First and foremost, Happy New Year! And no, I am not late. I am actually right on time.

It has been a little over two months to the day since my last post and I must say that it’s good to be back. I took the time to purge, rest, be a mama, be a woman, and prepare for the next phase in my journey. I also took the opportunity to reach out to other bloggers/writers and fall back from social media temporarily (Facebook can be straight smoke and mirrors at times). All of this without a shred of guilt (a great feeling indeed). I’m also thankful that during my time away, I could sit back and watch people enjoy my writing.

That said, here’s to 2012. A different race, but still my pace. I look forward to enlightening you and receiving enlightenment in return.
