As the fall season continues to roll on by, I have been working diligently on my writing and business endeavors. That meant reaching out and participating in organizations that pique my interest. Having recently joined the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) as an Associate Member, I took some time to reach out to other members and task forces in order to add my input and network within my field.
As a result of taking the time to reach out and communicate, I have been presented with a great opportunity. I am pleased to announce that I will be part of a panel at NABJ’s Media Institute, on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the University of Maryland, College Park. The panel topic will cover Aligning Journalism and PR Knowledge with Entrepreneurial Revenue Generating Strategies and will be one of four panels featured during the day.

It will be a day full of valuable, informative conversation, opportunities to network with peers, and build relationships.
I am looking forward to sharing what I have with the masses. I figure it’s high time I did so.
