Just when you thought it was going to end, good ol’ Charlie Sheen takes his “winning” ways on the road. His My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour started last week and let’s just say it’s not measuring up to all that “tiger blood” that those on the “winning” side are born to have.
Boos in Detroit, standing ovation in Chicago, and somewhat warm welcome in Cleveland. Here at Aesthetic Elevation, I’ve deduced the following:
- People are willing to spend their money (even in this economy) on practically anything (or in this case anyone).
- I can boo you from the comfort of my own home/computer. There is no way I could spend money on this. Think about the last concert you attended. You can easily envision spending a grip on hair, nails, and new outfit (complete with shoes, purse and accessories). If you are going on a date, you know the man had to get a new shirt, belt, or shoes, as well as a nice haircut. That is even before you add in the gas, tolls, and parking for travel. How can I forget the food and beverages, before AND after the show. Don’t hate me Detroit, but you spent your money…
- See 1 and 2.
If this is winning, then I’ll gladly be a loser (holding up the “L” to my forehead).
Rise above…
